What do we ship?

We ship fresh and frozen seafood, from the most exotic parts of the world. We also deliver all of our sister company products - Ivy City Smokehouse that produces a full line of smoked seafood products! In addition, as a convenience for our shoppers and because Profish experts have deemed the products of the highest quality, we also sell other food products, including pre-packaged meat options, charcuterie, pasta, and sauces. And of course, if you want to buy a Profish Hat or T-Shirt – how could we refuse! All of these items are available on Profish.com

 

When do we ship?

Shipping depends on the type of customer Retail or Wholesale and the method of order Direct Home or Store Delivery, Depot delivery for pick up at a specific location during a specific period or ultimately by FedEx as well!

 

Where do we ship?

Certain Zip Codes for Direct Delivery: Currently we are experimenting with zip codes throughout the Washington DC area. Please check here to find if your zip code is our current range and if not – check back again in the future – we are trying to expand our capabilities.

 

What are our rates to ship? And do we have minimum orders?

We do have minimum orders. For Wholesale it is $125.00, for Retail, it is $50.00

Rates vary depending on the method of shipping:

Wholesale and Depot Shipping – all shipping fees included

Direct Home delivery - $15 per delivery, unless noted when you sign in for your zip (some, farther away, are more)

FedEx – we have a calculator for all orders to be shipped by FedEx and the customer is responsible for all FedEx charges.

 

How to track your order when it is shipped?

We are working on this for our web portal, but at this time, only a phone call can help track an order.

 

Is In-Store Pickup an Option?

Yes, our location is a depot selection on the web page – for wholesale customers, pickup hours are posted. On our website.

 

Do we recycle Packaging Materials?

Yes – we also provide, for purchase, a re-usable bag for avoiding such needs. All ice packs and styrofoam or cardboard boxes can be returned to the driver. The Driver will then bring those back to our facility where, for Styrofoam Profish uses an environmentally friendly solution to the recycle the styrofoam into a raw material to be used again, and for ice packs, we place all returned ice packs into a bleach solution for the appropriate time (based on size) and then dry and re-freeze. For The Cardboard – we recycle all we can – wax-lined boxes do not recycle, but we condense and prepare for the least environmental effect possible.
